What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website leaves in your browser. It recognises you on your next visit or counts which pages are read. This site has no login, membership or shopping, so the only job of its cookies is measurement.

How consent works
- On your first visit a bar appears at the bottom of the page. “Accept” sets the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies; “Decline” does not.
- The site works fully before you decide; no page depends on consent.
- If you decline, Google receives only a cookieless, non-identifying page count (Google Consent Mode). The IP address is truncated and no identifier is stored.
Changing your choice
The “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page reopens the bar, where you can withdraw or give consent. Deleting this site’s cookies and site data in your browser settings has the same effect.
Browser settings
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies altogether: look under “Privacy” in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking cookies does not affect how this site works.
